I think it is time to speak about overhyped and overrated things and about things where never will anyone speak about it nyan.
As first, the most hyped thing on this world, loli Tsundere characters.
Why must all other peoples do hype them and say they are the cutest characters??? Generally would I say „Okay, everyone does have his own taste“, but on this line I have to say „mainstream hype is a bad thing, because all follow blind and get the fetishes from all other mainstream persons. That’s not a good thing nya!“.
I have not much against Tsundere characters, but when they are hyped from all persons does makes the characters worse for me. And then is there still the thing with the Seiyuu Rie Kugimiya and loli Tsundere.
She gives many other characters her voice, but all just think on those typical Tsundere characters.
I mean, Alphonse Elric, very epic and unique character, but nobody does think about it to like him or speak about him nya. Okay, not everyone is an Shounen fan, but honestly, Alphonse is underrated desu~
Or Nene from Potemayo. She is awesome cute, much more cuter than Tsundere characters with the same seiyuu nya.
She does speak very different to all other characters from Kugimiya-san.
Nene is evil loli and cuter than every Tsundere in my eyes desu yo~
And there is the thing with Tsundere hypes. Why shall be Tsundere better than Yandere? Yandere are much more interesting than Tsundere. See, Konata loves my favorite Yandere as well nyaaaan.
Then is there still the thing, that they just speak about the Tsundere character in this Anime.
To information, those are Anime’s with more characters than the Tsundere!!!!!!!!!!!!
As sample ToraDora!, Minori and Takasu are very cool and personable characters, which I love and which were very new characters for me. I still love Minori! She is full of emotions and very friendly.
And honestly, when you can decide between a boring Tsundere character and that:
Who would choose the Tsundere? I understand purely Tsundere Otaku’s, but those character mainstreams are senseless and boring nya.
And by the Seiyuu way, why not Haruko Momoi? It’s the Seiyuu from Komugi-chan!!!!!!!
Ahhhhh right outfit wrong characters. Go away Edmugi and Kophonse!!!!!!
You had your chance nya! You both should catch wild Gluttony’s and ride them and not stealing Komugi-chan’s and Koyori’s magical dresses!

Anyways, how can it be that they like Tsundere characters more than the characters who have the voice from Komugi-chan?
Komugi-chan, Mii, Anise, Maya and the little sister from Sensei who must be the maincharacter in 200 other Anime’s nyan.

There is my line to say „You can just say that because you’ve never played Guilty Gear!“
Let’s see, when in Tekken anyone hits the other one, does make he a combo and kills him without the other can do anything against it. And in Street Fight, you must just run away and make distance attacks nya. Wow, what a fight system….. In Guilty Gear and BlazBlue can you use burst and you can entrap yourself in the air.
The most overrated RPG is propably Final Fantasy VIII.
What can I say about Final Fantasy VIII? It is very own, but this game is just popular because you can get very fast maximum level, I think. „Oah I must not much leveling to get maximum level, best game ever!“
There is my line to say „lol, how lazily are you all??? It doesn’t make fun to get fast maximum level.“
And my line to say „Do you protect the Trepe?“
Tales of games are generally much better than Final Fantasy’s nya.
The next thing is Anime’s.
The most underratest Anime is Kemono no Souja Erin.
Okay, there are not pantsu shots in the series, but it has a awesome atmosphere, a wonderfull story and gives a feeling to be home. If I could decide, I would live in the world of Erin nya. Ohh….okay, I would live with Jun and Unagi together nyan.
Anyways, it is very nice to see how Erin does grow up and becomes more and more like her mother.
She does make faults and learns from it nya. She get weaks because of things in her childhood which we have seen.
Haruhi 2nd season, even Endless Eight is it the most overhypet Anime nya. There I must ask, why???
I am not a person who would say Haruhi is bad, Haruhi is actually great, but Endless Eight is for me not good and not creative. I was very disappointed and tired by watching the first both episodes of Endless Eight.
Und die Moral von der Geschicht? Sorry, aber die habe ich immer noch nicht raus, was gut anfängt, geht in ein Favoriten-Blah über, da kann man nur noch mit dem Geschmackssache-Argument kommen.
Was mich aber mehr aufregt, ist zum Beispiel K-ON!, das hätte vielleicht auch Erwähnung finden können…

Agreed. Some characters are nice but due to mos fans they tend to become sort of „bad“ characters or at most, they tend to be looked upon as too overrated or overhyped.
So sometimes its because of fans that makes a good character (Not good as in doing good things) and they turn bad. :P
It is true that many anime have been over rated due to a certain element or, because of the fan base. Especially some with the second season, featuring stories with only services…

Also ich kann Zaku nur beipflichten und mich fragen warum der Artikel eine solche Entwicklung erlitten hat? Es ist vielleicht etwas schwer einen solchen Artikel zu verfassen, da jeder einen anderen Geschmack hat und man dadurch leicht den Faden verliert. Dazu kommt noch, dass Animes ja meist nicht ohne Grund als gut odert schlecht bezeichnet werden und man diese Gründe abwägen muss. Das gleiche Spiele auch bei Charas und Spielen. Es ist eher eine mag ich und mag ich nicht Liste. Wie du schon selbst erkannt hast hat jeder einen anderen Geschmack und deshalb haben Hype bzw. „Anti-Hype“ beide nur negative Wirkungen. Besser die Finger von solchen Artikeln. ;)

Text ist weg deswegen nochmal meine eigentliche Antwort in kurz. Ich stimme im großen und ganzen Pantsu und Zaku zu. Das konnte ja nur so enden. Btw Hype und „Anti-Hype“ haben nie gute Effekte, also solltest du vielleicht das alles in einen mag ich und mag ich nicht Artikel verfrachten. Schon schwer sowas gut zu schreiben, denn das jedermans eigener Geschmack Argument wiegt bei sowas schwer.

Ich denke das wir deutsch reden können, ich schätze du wolltest einfach mehr Leute als einfach nur die Deutschen ansprechen.
Ich kann deine Meinung vollkommen nachvollziehen. Leider ist es so das der Mainstream nunmal auf Ecchi und Tsunere/Loli hyped. Da kann man wohl auch nichts machen, ich steh ja selbst auch auf Rie Kugimiya und ich bin mir sehrwohl bewusst (ich hab die Stimme sofort erkannt) das es Alphonse Elric ist. Ansich ist der Charakter ganz ok, geschmackssache :) gucke selbst auch sehr gerne Shounen (eigentlich alles aber egal).
Zu Toradora ist es ganz klar Minori ^^ und Takasu war richtig cool, Toradora ist halt einfach ein Top Anime, das kann man net mit irgendwelchen anderen Loli Charakteren vergleichen (so ist meine Meinung). Man muss einen klaren Strich ziehen zwischen realistischen und unrealistischen Animes, ich denke ihr wisst von was ich rede. Ebenso kann man schlecht Death Note mit Code Geass vergleichen. Beide Animes waren einfach unbeschreiblich gut. Das jetzt zu bewerten (wenn man beides geguckt hat) ist unmöglich. Sollte man aber nur eines von beiden gesehen haben, ist dies natürlich klar besser für einen selbst. So halt auch der Tsundere-hype. Ich meine Mio aus K-ON! ist ja auch total famous. Allerdings wurde sie von KADAKOWA bzw KyoAni auch so dargestellt um den Hype überhaupt auszulösen oder eher gesagt noch mehr anfeuern.
Was ich viel viel schlimmer finde, sind diese Menschen die Episode 1 gucken und sagen „Scheiß Anime, Charaktere kacke, Story kacke, Zeichenstil kacke, BASIERT NICHT AUFM MANGA, FILLER MÜLL“ und all diesen Dreck, solche Leute sollten am besten garnicht mehr schauen. Somit ist die Bewertung und Reviews von vielen Animes im Keller.

I agree that the Tsundere character is overrated, and usually re-used to the point that it is just repetition. A prime example is Taiga from Toradora is very much like the character Loiuse from Zero no Tsukaima. Mind you it is the same seiyuu and she does the Tsundere character very well. Then again the same could be said about any type of character.
Personally my favorite type is the imouto characters, like Mai from Clannad… when they say anything with Onii-chan it makes me want to hug them and not let go ><.
As for games I do like the mainstream games like Final Fantasy but I don't believe they are all the hype people make them to be. There are plenty of games out there just as good that are not as well known. An example for Playstation would be the Tales games (Tales of Destiny my favorite still) or the Wild Arms games.
For computer, not really into fighting games, mostly adventure, RPG's and eroge. Here are some examples of games not many people know about (work safe). Recettear, Combat DX9 – Kinryu vs. Xentar, and Tenerezza.
As for anime's well I love anything shoujo related, but will really watch anything so cannot really comment on that. Currently watching Detective Conan for the first time, read the manga a few years ago and even though its very cliche, I am enjoying it. My favorite anime to date though would still be Card Captor Sakura ^^v

Japp, guter Kritikpunkt finde ich. Aber ich kenne das auch. Blogeinträge werden meistens nicht so, wie man es zu erst wollte. Und klar über Geschmack lässt sich immer streiten aber jeder vertritt natürlich am liebsten seinen eigenen.

Guter Einwand ich bin mir da auch nicht ganz sicher. Vielleicht weil Rena auf dem Startbild ist. An sich gehört die Sektion hier aber nicht wirklich rein. Es sei Satiro aber verziehen denn immerhin ist er auch nur ein Mensch.. äh eine Spinne.

Wieso der Artikel hatte doch genau das Ergebnis was er haben sollte. Viele Leute regen sich auf und es kommt zu so etwas ähnlichen wie einer Diskussion. Warum auch Artikel schreiben wo jeder immer nur sagt „ja seh ich genauso“ oder „seh ich auch so“. Sowas ist doch langweilig, lieber seine Leser fordern/provozieren und sei es mit unhaltbaren Anschuldigungen und Theorien.
Aber es stimmt, es ist schon schwer so ein Thema richtig anzufassen. Ich selbst werde es aber demnächt auch noch einmal versuchen. Satiro war wohl einfach genau wie ich ziemlich sauer weil gerade Taiga diese Abstimmung zum moe Char Nr. 1 gewonnen hat.

Also ich finde er hat das schon sehr gut gemacht. Erst schön Mainstream kritisieren und dann seine eigenen Lieblinge hypen. Wie du schon sagst, dafür hat man doch einen Blog. Andere hypen auch auf ihrem Blog ihre Lieblingscharaktere und machen andere schlecht.
Was soll man denn sonst bitte mit einem Blog wenn man auf diesem nichtmal Subjektiv schreiben darf?

Schön das es mehr Menschen gibt die das erkennen und auch aussprechen. Toradora ist eine Top Serie jedoch nicht wegen Taiga sondern eher wegen den anderen Charakteren.

Das ist jetzt auch wieder sehr Subjektiv gesehen. Ich finde Code Geass z.B. echt mies. Trotzdem verstehe ich den Vergleich.

Seit dem auftauchen von Azu-nyan war Mio ja sowieso abgelöst. Fand ich lustig wie schnell diese Welle umgeschlagen ist ^^
Tsumugi ist immernoch mein Lieblingschar aus K-ON!

Du spricht mir echt aus der Seele. Bei Toradora war das ganz furchtbar. Denn ein Anime mit der Love Story zweier Mitschüler. Und der weibliche Part ist auch noch eine Tsundere. Das muss doch voll schlecht sein, ne?
Ich erinnere mich noch an die ganzen Anti Posts dazu überall im Netz. Weil ja ab der ersten Folge schon klar war wie es ausgeht und blah blah. Tja aber als dann die Story mal ins laufen kam verstummten die alle auf einmal. Jetzt haben fast 50 % dieser Leute Toradora in den Top 5 der Lieblingsanimes.
Ok das wars erst einmal von mir zu dem Thema. Ich hoffe mal Satiro spricht nochmal die englischsprachigen Comments hier an.
Generally I agree with you about tsundere. I really like some tsundere chars, for example Hazuki from TMP. But dislike more dominant or violent ones, for example in ToraDora!, Shana, ZnT season 2, even Hayate. ( Among these anime I watched only Shana beyond ep1 – only to be able to comment on certain aspect on this show in certain discussion… But it’s a bad idea to force oneself to watch an anime for any reason ?.? )
Yandere are fine, but I guess I’d prefer mild tsundere to yandere.
I liked Elric too, though obviously not in a way I like female chars ( I couldn’t fall in love with any male char ^^; )
I’m a Halko Momoi too (well, you know it already^^). But you missed some of my favorite chars in your list: Ai from Final Fantasy: Unlimited (I’ve some screens in my loli anime review thread.) and Tama-chan from Bottle Fairy ^_^

About CCS: I watched it twice: the first time a long time ago and I was afraid that the ending would make me sad (just because the story ends as well as because I might not like the ending), so I didn’t finish it back then. Recently I watched it again (in few months) and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time. I watched it till the end and the ending was OK, but I wish Sakura would end up with Tomoyo (I know that’s impossible since Sakura never looked at any girl this way… *sigh*)
Ah… I wish they would make another CCS season instead of TRC (which I refuse to watch :p )
